How does the Excel to PDF work?
Convert an Excel spreadsheet to PDF so anyone can view it without Excel. Drop your .xlsx (or legacy .xls) file and click Convert. The print settings configured in your spreadsheet (page orientation, fit-to-page, print area, repeating header rows) are honoured. For best results, before converting: set the print area in Excel to just the data you want shared, and use Page Layout → Scale to Fit to control how data splits across pages. Multi-sheet workbooks export with each sheet on its own page or series of pages. Quality varies with how the source spreadsheet was set up — a quick preview check is wise before sharing externally.
