How does the Spot Color Extractor work?

List every spot colour (Separation / DeviceN ink) referenced in a PDF, with the alternate process colour-space and which pages use each ink. Useful before sending to a printer to verify your ink count: a 4-process + 1-spot job (CMYK + Pantone 187) costs less than CMYK + 3 strays accidentally embedded from imported logos. Each entry shows the spot ink name (e.g. PANTONE 287 C), the alternate process space (DeviceCMYK / DeviceRGB / Lab) used for screen preview, and the pages where it appears.
