Does it handle nested bookmarks?

In v1, all bookmarks (including nested children) are flattened to a single linear list and treated equally. That works for most book / report structures.

What if two bookmarks are on the same page?

The second bookmark's chunk starts on that same page; one of the chunks will overlap the page. For pinpoint splits use Split PDF with explicit ranges.
