Auto-Bookmark from Headings
Automatically generate bookmarks from a PDF's heading-style text — detected by font size — without you having to type a thing.

How does the Auto-Bookmark from Headings work?
Skip the manual bookmark entry. Drop a PDF and we will scan every page for "heading-shaped" text — text rendered in a font noticeably larger than the body — and turn each one into a bookmark that jumps to that page. The default Medium sensitivity catches most chapter and section headers; switch to High if your headings are only slightly larger than the body, or Low to capture only the very biggest titles. Image-only / scanned PDFs have no extractable text and won't work — run them through OCR first.
🔒 Security & Privacy
All processing happens on your device. Your files never leave your browser, never touch our servers, and are not stored anywhere. Close the tab and the file is gone.
📱 Use it on any device
Works in any modern browser — Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, Android, and tablets. No installation, no app to download. Just open the page and start.
⚡ Quick & easy
Drag, drop, click. Most files process in seconds, not minutes. No watermarks added to your output, no per-day limits, and the tool always shows the result before asking you to download.
