The audit verifies page-count parity (POD requires even counts for press signatures), platform-specific page-count minimums and maximums (KDP: 24-828, IngramSpark: 18-1200, Lulu: 32-800), trim-size consistency across all pages, BleedBox presence if your interior has edge-bleed elements, and file-size limits (KDP caps at 650 MB, IngramSpark 2 GB, Lulu 800 MB). Run this before uploading to catch the obvious gotchas; platform-specific requirements (cover bleed, spine-width math, font embedding rules) need separate verification per platform spec.
