How does the Booklet Layout (Saddle-Stitch) work?
Reorder pages for saddle-stitch booklet printing. Saddle-stitch is the binding where a stack of folded sheets is stapled along the spine — like a magazine or a programme. To make this work, your printer needs the pages in a non-sequential order so that when each sheet is printed double-sided and the stack is folded in half, the pages end up in correct reading order. The tool computes the imposition automatically: just print double-sided with "flip on long edge" and fold each sheet in half. Padded with blank pages if your page count isn't a multiple of 4 (the saddle-stitch requirement).
