How does the N-up Layout (Multiple Pages per Sheet) work?

Combine multiple PDF pages onto one output sheet — great for drafts (2-up saves paper), handouts (4-up = quick reference card), or thumbnail review (6-up or 9-up). Each input page is scaled-to-fit its cell preserving aspect ratio, with proportional margins between cells. Output sheet size is selectable (Letter or A4, portrait or landscape). Different from Booklet Layout which produces saddle-stitch impositions — n-up is just "more pages per printed sheet" with no folding sequence.

Frequently asked

8-up is an awkward 2×4 grid — most printers tile 9-up (3×3) for thumbnail review. If you need 8-up specifically, drop us a note.
