EPS Growth Rate Calculator
Annualized earnings-per-share growth from start-year and end-year EPS.
EPS growth
15.02 % / year
What this measures
Earnings Per Share (EPS) growth is one of the strongest long-run drivers of stock price. This calculator computes the compound annual growth rate of EPS across a multi-year window — the metric analysts use to describe a company's earnings trajectory.
Formula & example
EPS Growth = (Ending EPS ÷ Starting EPS)^(1/years) − 1. If EPS grew from $2.00 to $3.50 over 4 years, EPS CAGR = (3.50/2.00)^(1/4) − 1 = 15.02% per year. Also warns if starting or ending EPS is negative — CAGR is mathematically undefined across a sign change.
