How do I fill these forms after creation?

Open the PDF in any reader and type into each field; or use our Fill PDF Form tool with key=value lines, or Pre-populate from CSV for bulk filling.

What about field validation?

Not in v1 — fields accept arbitrary text. For validation, build the form with our /docs cluster instead, where each template defines its own field types.

Are the files uploaded?

No — pdf-lib creates the form fields entirely in your browser.
