About this tool
This calculator converts Indian CTC (Cost To Company) to in-hand monthly salary. It deducts (in order): employer contributions (EPF 12% of Basic capped at ₹21,600/yr + Gratuity 4.81% of Basic), then employee EPF, professional tax (₹2,400/yr), standard deduction (₹75K new regime, ₹50K old), 80C deduction (old regime only), then computes income tax under the chosen regime + 4% Health & Education Cess. Uses FY 2025-26 slabs: new regime tax-free up to ₹12L (with rebate); old regime tax-free up to ₹5L.
