About this calculator
A 100 km ride at 25 km/h takes 4 hours. At 30 km/h, 3:20. At 35 km/h, 2:51. Cyclists rarely hold their FTP-equivalent speed for long rides โ wind, climbs, and fatigue cost 10-20%. Use this calculator to plan: enter expected average speed (lower than your training rides!) for time goals, or back-solve average speed needed to hit a finish time on a known route.
