Driveway area drives material quantities. Concrete driveways: 4-6 inches thick. Asphalt: 2-3 inch top over compacted base. Gravel: 4-6 inch lift over compacted sub-grade. Standard 1-car driveway: 10-12 ft wide; 2-car: 18-24 ft.
