How does the Whiteboard Capture (Photo to PDF) work?

Photograph a whiteboard at the end of a meeting and turn the image into a crisp PDF that's actually legible. The binarisation step pushes near-white pixels (the haze, the meeting-room glare) to pure white while darkening the marker strokes so they stand out. Auto-crop then trims the wall, ceiling, and chair backs out of the frame. The result is a clean PDF you can attach to meeting notes or share with a remote colleague. Multi-photo input means you can capture a series of whiteboards as a multi-page PDF — useful when you ran out of space and started a second board.

Frequently asked

Whiteboard photos are usually low-contrast and dominated by glare. Binarisation pushes the background toward pure white and darkens the strokes — the result is sharper and more readable than the raw photo. Switch it off if you want the original.
